Kevzara AR App with 3D Injectable Pen
About the project
KEVZARA AR is an augmented reality app created with the purpose of training Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) patients to use their medical injection tool. With hands-on training using augmented reality, you can learn how to prepare, use and store KEVZARA (sarilumab) injectable pen.
KEVZARA is an injectable prescription medicine. Specifically, it is an interleukin-6 (IL-6) receptor blocker. KEVZARA AR facilitates adult patients’ treatment that suffers from moderately to severely active rheumatoid arthritis (RA) after at least one other medicine DMARD has been used, but it has no effect or intolerable.
This medicine can affect your immune system. It can lower the ability of your immune system to fight infections. Some people have had serious infections while using KEVZARA, including tuberculosis (TB), and infections that can spread throughout the body. Some people have died from these infections. Your healthcare provider should test you for TB before starting KEVZARA. Your healthcare provider should monitor you closely for signs and symptoms of TB during treatment with KEVZARA.
KEVZARA targets the interleukin-6 (IL-6) receptor. Your doctor may prescribe KEVZARA after you’ve tried a TNFi biologic and it’s no longer working well. In another case, it may be because your body can’t tolerate it or there are intolerable side effects.
